Today is Sunday! So you know what that means…
It means you better have your butt up and ready to go to Tapa Toro for their Bottomless Brunch. Well actually, not today, they are closed for the Super Bowl. BUT – next Sunday, I hope to see you all there from 11:00-3:00, while you delight in the wonders of brunch with bottomless sangrias and mimosas.
Last Sunday, I had to pleasure of being invited to a special tasting of the brunch menu at Tapa Toro. We first started with a lesson on how to make Bloody Mary’s with Chef Wendy. That was my first experience with that spicy drink and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Definitely very salty and spicy. The atmosphere there is very inviting and kind of sexy, if you ask me. They have a full bar and even sell cigars.
So, I’m sure you are all wondering why I am recommending this place. I am here to give you 3 reasons why you should choose Tapa Toro as your next Brunch stop. Check out the photos above to see a small portion of the food we got to try last week.
#1 – The food is AH-mazingly delicious!
Holy shish-ka-bobs. I enjoyed everything I tasted. You should know that everything served at Tapa Toro, from the stocks, sauces, and even the yogurt is homemade. So the freshness and authenticity of each dish is such a delight.
My favorite bite was the Focaccia Sandwich. I could’ve eaten that and been just as satisfied. The housemade focaccia bread is served with ham, chorizo, and this super yummy olive spread. The first bite just tastes so warm and buttery (it’s olive oil) and I could not get enough.
#2 – This is the ONLY Tapa Toro location!
You will NOT find another Tapa Toro like this anywhere in the world. So why not eat here? It’s such a special place with a Spanish contemporary flair. The staff are all super friendly and there is so much space inside to host a large party. They even take reservations.
They are located at 8441 INTERNATIONAL DRIVE ORLANDO, FL 32819, near the Orlando Eye.
Also, you won’t want to miss the dancer they have as well. It is such a fun place to be whether you go for brunch or dinner. I promise you will not regret it.
#3- Chef Wendy will make you want to stay!
Born in Mexico, Chef Wendy is such a super star! Her passion for the food she creates with her staff permeates on her face. When she brought out our dishes, she was just so excited to see our faces and how much we enjoyed them. That to me is the epitome of what being a chef is – being able to see the happiness and satisfaction on your customers faces.
Chef said, “I want to make sure the food and ambiance triggers something good within you“…and that is does Chef…that it does.
I cannot wait to visit again and try the paella. But I will definitely be having more of that focaccia.
Have you been to Tapa Toro? What dish was your favorite? If not, what dish would you like to try?
